The Master's in Human Movement Sciences aims to:

I. Train qualified faculty for teaching in higher education;

II. Develop professionals skilled in scientific research based on various research methods related to Human Movement Sciences;

III. Prepare researchers for doctoral studies;

IV. Form leaders with a critical, creative, and humanistic perspective to intervene in the field of Human Movement Sciences;

V. Generate innovative scientific knowledge to contribute to the socioeconomic development of Northern Paraná;

VI. Conduct research that reaches the international scientific community through high-impact publications in the field;

VII. Strengthen the link between undergraduate education and research, enhancing undergraduate training quality and encouraging student enrollment in Stricto Sensu graduate programs;

VIII. Encourage the academic and technical intellectual output of program faculty, advancing scientific progress in the field;

IX. Foster partnerships with other Stricto Sensu graduate programs related to Human Movement Sciences;

X. Promote faculty internationalization by establishing partnerships with researchers abroad;

XI. Encourage the formation, qualification, and production of other UENP faculty associated with Physical Education and Physical Therapy courses to join the program’s permanent faculty.
